This question was asked many times by many people, and not all who asked wanted to hear the truth. The very bright moment in history when Jesus was standing before Pilot questioning who you are, are you a king… Jesus answered: you say I’m a king and I’m here to testify about truth.
John 18:37 “Then You are a king!” Pilate said. “You say that I am a king,” Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”
This was the moment when Truth Himself was standing before Pilot but did he really want to know the truth… Today people continue seeking the truth, many say everyone has his own truth but the question still remains for many what’s is the truth…Let me give you what Bible the book of life, the word of God says about the truth. There are three things how the Bible defines as Truth!
- Jesus is the truth
Ephesians 4:20-21 CEV “But this isn’t what you were taught about Jesus Christ. He is the truth, and you heard about him and learned about him. Jesus Christ is the son of God and God Himself, Hi is Lord and Savior to everyone who believes in Him and accepts Him this way! Receive Jesus equals receive truth reject Jesus is the same as rejecting the truth.
- The word of God is the truth
John 17:17 CEV “Your word is the truth. So let this truth make them completely yours.” Bible is the Word of God, whatever God spoke through the ages is captured in this book. All it says it’s true.
- Holy Spirit is the truth
John 16:13 NKJV “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” Holy Spirit was sent by the Son of God to people to be their helper in their Christian life journey. All the Holy Spirit does is turning their focus on truth.
Finally, to be complete in our Christian life we need to be focusing on all three aspects of truth. If you have have one or two but not all three then, you are missing the whole point and the full picture. Focus on Jesus, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit equally and you will be complete, your life will be balanced, there will be no missing point.
