Mark ch. 14:30, 31. Peter was walking on water towards Jesus but after he saw that wind was boisterous he was afraid and beginning to sink. The interesting fact is that supernatural law worked for him only while he 100% believed in Jesus that he can do it. I think Peter did not even think, when he asked Jesus to come to Him on water if it is possible, he just got the idea and approve from Jesus he went, and it worked for him. How many times when we receive revelation from God to go and do something, we go but then we see boisterous wind and we afraid and at that moment supernatural law stop working for us all that works is just natural law. Then we may say I knew it however, it’s not because we knew it but because we doubt it.
In Message Bible it saysย “Faint-heart, what got into you?” in other words you allowed something to posses you, DOUBT this is the problem, we allow doubt, the lack of faith, to come into our mind and supernatural things stopped working for us “WHY DID YOU DOUBT” Jesus asked. You see Jesus was there but he began to sink any way after his doubt, supernatural worked for him because he believed, but immediately after doubt, it’s gone.
How many times we started well trusting God, but then we saw people, circumstances, waves, mountains, giants and we began afraid, when we afraid it means we are not trusting God 100% anymore, we doubt. begin question our self if it is possible, and in many cases, it is not. Smith Wilsford once said when you believe God without any doubt in your heart, He will pass by millions and come to you because you believe.
It is not easy, not to doubt when we see scary waves around us, but it’s possible if we set our minds on Jesus. All the time something pretend to get our attention, but if we want to accomplish impossible, Jesus has to be our main pillar, all the time something goes wrong He asks “Why did you doubt on me” ???
